Cosmetic bonding can be a viable, affordable alternative to porcelain veneers, but since it doesn't last as long as veneers are designed to do, expect to replace your bonding work every 7 to 10 years. Bonding will discolor differently than your natural tooth enamel will, so touch-up teeth whitening may be required periodically.
