Dr. Robert Tracey

Dr. Tracey graduated from The City College of NY Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. He continued on to dental school at Columbia University where he graduated in 1979 with honors. Continuing his education, Dr. Tracey completed a hospital-based residency program at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center/Albert Einstein Medical Center. In 1982, he established private practice in Rockland County, staying close to family ties in the community. The love of dentistry he exhibited back then has only continued to grow stronger with each year.

Dr. Tracey is a strong advocate for continuing education and, as such, takes frequent classes to update his knowledge and techniques. He is proud to have achieved the prestigious titles of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and Fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute. A respected innovator in the field of laser dentistry, Dr. Tracey has been honored to lecture dentists from all over the world in the usage of lasers in dentistry, and has appeared on Fox5NY News and in the Rockland Journal News.

Married in 1981, Dr. Tracey and his wife are the proud parents of two boys who he says "can ski circles around me." His interests outside of dentistry are varied, and include skiing, photography, and travel to places off the beaten path (don't get him started about the Galapagos or the Amazon). In fact, you'll see some of the doctor's photography adorning our office walls. If you really want to be Dr. Tracey's friend, just tell him you love the NY JETS!

About The Staff

We are truly fortunate to have such a fantastic team of support staff in place at our practice. Three competent ladies rotate shifts at our front desk - Karen, Vicky and Teresa. They offer a unique blend of professionalism and down to earth humor that will make anyone feel welcome and at ease. As soon as you enter the office, you will notice how meticulous it is. Our entire staff works hard to keep it that way, especially our dental assistants, Denise and MaryLou. Dental treatment has been known to cause anxiety for some, but Denise and MaryLou will help ease your concerns. Incidentally, Denise was Dr. Tracey's assistant during his residency in 1979, so the two have been working together for quite a while!

As for hygienists, there are none finer than Michal (pronounced Michele) and Carmen. They have been with Dr. Tracey for more than 30 years combined. Neisha is the newest member of our hygiene team, coming on board when, after she filled in as a temporary hygienist, we and our patients liked her so much that we asked her to stay on permanently.
