What Can I Expect At My First Appointment?

Your initial appointment will take about an hour. First we’ll assess your oral health to be sure veneers are right for you. If you have an example of a smile you really like, such as a celebrity photo or magazine clipping, bring it with you so that we can discuss the features you’d like reflected in your new veneers. We’ll also take a few notes on the shade of your teeth, your skin tone, even your facial symmetry. After all, sculpting beautiful teeth is as much an art as it is a science!

Will My Teeth Need Preparation?

Usually a little preparation is necessary to get your teeth ready for your porcelain veneers. Dr. Tracey will buff 1mm or less to make sure your veneers line up perfectly with the rest of your smile. We may place temporary veneers until your custom porcelain veneers arrive from the lab. Don’t worry, we’ll make sure you understand everything about your treatment ahead of time.

Finally, a New Smile!

When your veneers arrive at our Pomona dental office, we’ll have you come back in for placement. Dr. Tracey will make sure you like the look of your new smile first. Once we bond your veneers, they’re on permanently, so be sure to let us know if you want any changes. A little anesthetic to make sure you’re comfy and we’ll begin your transformation.
